Here’s what’s up this weekend:

The party starts today from noon to 6 p.m. with the annual St. Baldrick’s charity event, then picks up again at noon on Saturday with 10 hours of Celtic tunes. On St. Patrick’s Day, the pub opens at 8 a.m., the outdoor beer garden opens at 2:30 p.m. and the music starts at noon.

It’s the opening weekend for Body Worlds and the Story of the Heart at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, an exhibition about a subject near and dear to everyone’s heart. Maybe you’d rather take a stick in the eye than eat even one raw oyster, but the teams converging on Jax Fish House in Denver on Sunday are made of sterner stuff. Come out at 3 p.m. to see them eat as many of the slimy lil devils as possible in 30 seconds. Proceeds benefit The Gathering Place, and the winners get a trip to Napa Valley.
