Colorado Companies to Watch: Supertramp Campers

When Keith Panich started Supertramp Campers in his garage in 2017, he couldn’t have foreseen that a global pandemic would propel the company’s growth. The company launched its Flagship LT model in 2021 with 30 customers committing to nonrefundable deposits.

With things returning to normal after the pandemic, Supertramp Campers has continued its growth trajectory. Last year, the company delivered 60 units, earning just over $4 million in revenue.

“This was all achieved while doubling our personnel, developing a new product and doubling our square footage in the same year,” company President Kelsey Panich said.

In 2022, Supertramp Campers received a $250,000 grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade for its innovative vacuum infusion manufacturing techniques. The company uses vacuum infusion, which allows it to make strong, durable and lightweight campers that the industry had not previously seen in the mid-market price range.

While most companies rely on third parties to make the components in their products, Supertramp vertically integrated and makes all of its components in-house.

“We take feedback from our production team to simplify our manufacturing processes, which has allowed for us to scale from producing one camper per month to six campers per month,” Panich said. “We also are able to respond quickly to feedback from our customers and implement those new additions or changes immediately.”
