COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Group has announced the opening of The Hunter, a 214-unit residential complex in the New South End neighborhood of . The project marks Formativ’s first development in the city and was structured as an Opportunity Zone investment, signaling a long-term commitment to the area.

“We are incredibly proud to introduce The Hunter to the Colorado Springs market,” said Sean Campbell, CEO of Formativ. “This project exemplifies our dedication to high design and thoughtful amenity programming for today’s renters, enhancing the living experience for our future residents. Construction on the project began in June 2024 with serving as general contractor. has been selected to manage operations and leasing. The development was designed by Denver-based Davis Partnership Architects.

“The Hunter is not only beautifully built, but it’s also a prime example of what’s possible when visionary development and purposeful construction come together,” said Doug Woody, vice president of Bryan Construction Inc. “Our urban infill expertise helped us manage construction in the dense New South End and deliver a project that supports sustainable growth and economic opportunity downtown.”

The Hunter features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, as well as eight premium townhomes. Amenities include a year-round pool deck with mountain views, outdoor dining areas, fire pits, cabanas and a recreation area. The two-level clubhouse offers an oversized kitchen, private dining room, lounge, game room and coworking spaces with Zoom rooms. A fitness center and a movement studio are also available.

The project was supported by the Colorado Springs Authority, whose partnership contributed to its success and emphasized efforts to revitalize downtown.

Leasing is underway, and tours are available at The Hunter, located at 225 E. Cimarron St. For more information, prospective residents can visit the property’s website or contact the onsite leasing team.
