As the New Zealand-based company charts a course of growth in the American market, Xero officially relocated its Denver office from the Denver Tech Center to downtown Denver, professing its commitment to growing the city's technology scene from its new American headquarters on the top floor of the Circa Building on Platte Street in the Lower Highlands. Xero, which named Denver its American headquarters last year, is a global online platform for small businesses and their advisors with more than 1.4 million subscribers in 180 countries.

"Denver is an amazing place to live and work, making it a fantastic hub for Xero's Americas HQ," said Xero Americas VP of People and Business, Andy Burner. "Knowing that we were going to outgrow our former space, we set out to find a new space that would not only facilitate our growing team, but enable us to do beautiful business in close proximity to all that Denver has to offer."

The 30,000-square-foot office – complete with multi-function event space, common outdoor seating and mezzanine social space – will enable the organization to expand to nearly 300 employees in Denver. The downtown address will increase Xero's visibility as a technology leader and opens access to local talent.

Both Battery Ventures and Glassdoor recently named Xero of the best cloud computing companies to work for. The company was also ranked No. 1 by Forbes as the World's Most Innovative Growth Company.

Xero joins a collection of high-growth technology companies that are expanding their footprints in downtown Denver, including Facebook, Slack and Xero partner, Gusto – wherein Xero has selected the platform as its preferred payroll provider for its small business and accountant customers in the U.S.

"We can't wait to contribute to the local small business and accounting scene on an even bigger scale," Burner says.
