To give guests an exceptional meeting and events experience, Lion Square Lodge, managed by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, announced the start of a $1.25 million renovation of its meeting space. The project will include upgrades and design enhancements that embrace the property’s rustic lodge atmosphere and stunning surrounding scenery.

“Over the past few years, Lion Square Lodge has undergone a number of significant renovations to offer guests a fresh mountain experience,” says Bill Anderson, vice president of operations, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, West region. “From a major exterior overhaul to a new restaurant and upgraded units, modern luxury is behind every corner."

With interior design by Woodland Lane Design and with RA Nelson serving as general contractor, the renovation project will continue through July 2018, debuting in time for the fall and winter seasons. Enhancements will include new decorative ceilings and LED lighting, a sound mitigation system, state-of-the-art IT and audio/visual systems and new carpeting throughout the conference area lobby, foyer and meeting rooms. Upgraded design finishes will tie the space together, from fresh paint and wood trim to new furniture and artwork.

“The project designs are inspired by Vail’s natural beauty and the elegant comfort that Lion Square Lodge provides its guests,” says Anderson. “Leather, wood and stone elements bring the mountains inside, along with photography and paintings of the area’s greatest scenes. It’s this destination meeting experience that leaves an impression, whether you’re in the middle of a meeting or taking a break outside on one of the nearby trails.”

The property’s meeting locations and spaces range from small boardrooms to large multi-purpose conference rooms that can accommodate groups of 10 upwards to 200.

Five different meeting rooms and 5,700 square feet of function space make planning the perfect event seamless, while two rooms go even further, with floor-to-ceiling windows and walkout balcony space overlooking Vail Mountain.
