Charles D. Bybee is a partner at Faegre Drinker’s Denver office with 39 years in the industry. He works with a variety of business entities on strategic tax planning and other legal issues, with an emphasis on the energy sector, helping clients with the acquisition and sale of oil and gas assets, exploration and development agreements, structuring of production payments, and financing of energy projects. Bybee also works with private equity and venture capital funds on tax issues and mergers and acquisitions across a broad array of industries. A member of the State Bar of Texas and the Colorado Bar Association, he is also an active participant in regional and national trade associations for the food and agribusiness sector. Outside the office, Bybee is an avid runner who has completed dozens of ultramarathons and other endurance events, including the Leadville Trail 100.
