Benson Hotel names three executives for Aurora campus location

The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club has appointed Cian McClafferty as general manager, Nicole Isenberg as director of sales and Sarah Swenson as area director of marketing.
McClafferty will oversee operations, employees and financial performance at the 106-room hotel on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. He has 21 years of hospitality experience, including management roles at QT Hotels and Resorts and Rydges Cronulla in Australia. He most recently served as hotel manager of the Ritz-Carlton Denver.
“I’m honored to join the Sage Hospitality team and to help build on everything that makes this hotel a true destination,” McClafferty said.
Isenberg will oversee sales and group business, including the hotel’s work with the CU Anschutz campus. She has 13 years of hospitality experience and previously served as senior sales manager at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.
Swenson will lead marketing for the hotel and its food, beverage and event operations. She has 19 years of hospitality experience, including positions with New Waterloo and Denver-based Sage Hospitality Group.
