Kim Woodworth leads the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC), where over nine years she has transformed the organization from an all-volunteer board into a statewide economic development powerhouse. Under her leadership, the EDCC has grown its budget by 40%, expanded to six working committees and more than 100 industry volunteers, and moved into its second five-year strategic plan. She has also played a central leadership role in the CO|Align Initiative, a multi-agency effort creating Colorado’s first-ever Statewide CEDS. “Leadership isn’t the work of a solo architect; it’s the work of a conductor,” Woodworth says. “My job is to ensure their expertise has a clear North Star and a collaborative framework to turn big-picture strategy into statewide implementation.”
