Adam Ducharme created and grew the Tourism & Economic Development Department for Lake County Government, expanding the role from destination marketing into a department connecting tourism, infrastructure, workforce, and economic resilience. Accomplishments include award-winning PR and media campaigns, a public-private partnership with Freeport McMoran to relocate the Visitor Center, and founding the Early Childcare Fund. He chairs the Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway, is a founding board member of the Colorado Tourism Office Destination Stewardship Council, and founded the Friends of Lake County nonprofit. “Leadership is about seeing potential where others see limitation—then building the trust, vision, and momentum to bring that possibility to life.”
