Danny Foster is a founding partner at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP, which he co-founded after serving as a deputy district attorney in the Denver District Attorney’s Office from 1997 to 1999. Beginning as a sole practitioner in 2000, he built one of central Denver’s largest independent law firms, with the personal injury practice generating more than $83 million in settlements and verdicts over approximately 15 years. The firm handles personal injury alongside business, appellate, real estate, and other cases. Foster deliberately forgoes television and billboard advertising. “I think that the really good lawyers in my field are the ones who do the work themselves, interact with the clients themselves, and develop the relationships themselves,” he said. His advice to young attorneys: “Try to burn as few bridges as possible. Sometimes that means you have to swallow some humble pie, but that’s okay, because in the long run, it makes you a better lawyer, and certainly, I think, makes you a better person.”
