John Baker is a Partner and Managing Director at Creative Planning, where he leads the firm’s regional office in Denver. He and his team serve high-net-worth clients in retirement planning, investment management, tax and estate planning, business succession planning, and charitable planning. Prior to joining Creative Planning, Baker served as Vice President at a national investment advisory firm in Chicago. A former United States Marine, he earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He volunteers with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, was named a Corporate Honoree by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, and supports the Food Bank of the Rockies and the Young Americans Center.
