Kristin Carel, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Practice in Pediatrics-Allergy/Immunology at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where she specializes in treating allergies, asthma, anaphylaxis, and related immune conditions in children. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed her pediatrics residency at Wake Forest University, and her allergy and immunology fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center. Board certified in both pediatrics and allergy and immunology, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and has published widely on penicillin allergy delabeling and anaphylaxis care.
