Liquid Mechanics celebrates 12 years with Lafayette music festival

LAFAYETTE, Colo. — Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co. will hold its 12th Anniversary Bash and Outdoor Music Festival on Aug. 7 and 8 at its Lafayette brewery.
The free event will run from 1 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday. Admission will be limited to people 21 and older after 8 p.m. both days.
More than 20 beers will be available, including new and returning releases. Beer will be served in the tasting room and at an outdoor station near the stage.
“Our anniversary is a chance to throw a party and give back to the community and our fans who have supported us over the last 12 years,” owner Davin Helden said.
Friday’s music lineup includes Rogue 2 and The River Arkansas. Saturday’s performers are AoxomoxoA, Ultralowfi, The 5280’s Band and Guerrilla Radio.
Food trucks will include Rev Mex and Pico Arepa on Friday, followed by H3SH3R BBQ and 2nd Son Kitchen on Saturday.
Organizers are asking attendees to leave pets at home. Service animals will be permitted. Drivers are encouraged to park at the shopping center northeast of Baseline Road and U.S. 287 and use the crosswalks to reach the brewery.
