Louise Martorano spent fifteen years at RedLine Contemporary Art Center, joining in 2010 and helping grow its residency program from 34 applications for thirteen studios to more than 300 applications annually. She also spearheaded RedLine’s Satellite Studio Program beginning in 2019, expanding it to nine locations to connect local artists with affordable workspace across Colorado. She is now transitioning to become managing director of CAST Colorado, the first expansion of San Francisco-based Community Arts Stabilization Trust outside the Bay Area. “It’s more about getting to sustainability for artists and organizations than it is about forcing one particular model,” she said.
