Melodie Polidori Harris is chief sausage officer of Polidori Sausage, Colorado’s oldest family-owned sausage company, founded in 1925. A fourth-generation leader who joined the business in 2002, Harris has guided the company to nearly 3,000% revenue growth and a 276% increase in net income while expanding from local markets to regional and national distribution. Under her leadership, Polidori Sausage was named Manufacturer of the Year by the Colorado Manufacturing Awards in 2023. “I believe in rolling up my sleeves alongside my people,” she said. “No task is beneath leadership and no challenge is insurmountable when we face it together.”
