Steve Polidori is a fourth-generation owner of Polidori Sausage, a Denver-based company his great-grandmother Anna Cerrone Polidori founded more than a century ago. He joined the family business in 1992 at his father’s urging, working alongside his grandfather Louis while still completing college. Polidori modernized operations by introducing portioning machines that transformed production capacity, helping grow the factory to produce 320,000 sausage links per week. In 2002, the company sharpened its focus exclusively on sausage, and Steve later brought his sister Melodie on board to help lead the business. “Sausage is my life,” he says.
