Tatiana Hernandez is chief executive officer of Community Foundation Boulder County, where she leads philanthropic efforts to build a more equitable Boulder County. Under her tenure, the foundation has overseen the largest philanthropic response to a natural disaster in Colorado history and has led relief efforts following COVID, a mass shooting and multiple fires. Previously, she served as president of the Emily Griffith Foundation, senior program officer at the Kresge Foundation, and arts director for the Hemera Foundation, where she helped develop Arts in Society, Colorado’s largest private-public arts funding program. She began her philanthropic career at the Knight Foundation, overseeing a portfolio of more than $100 million. Hernandez serves on the boards of Philanthropy Colorado, the Community Foundation National Standards Board and the Colorado State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education.
