Sandbox VR has opened a new entertainment venue in Denver’s River North Art District, marking the company’s second location in Colorado.

The 7,490-square-foot venue features three private rooms where groups of up to six people use virtual reality headsets, haptic vests and motion sensors to participate in immersive gaming experiences. Guests also receive personalized highlight videos after each session.

The Denver location is operated by franchisee , which also owns a Sandbox VR location in , Virginia. The company previously opened a location in .

“We’re excited to expand our relationship with through an additional franchise location in a key market,” , CEO and founder of Sandbox VR, said.

Sandbox VR said it operates more than 85 locations across 12 countries and has generated more than $300 million in lifetime sales since launching in 2016. The company offers original virtual reality experiences and licensed attractions, including “Stranger Things: Catalyst,” developed in collaboration with Netflix, and “Age of Dinosaurs,” created in partnership with the Natural History Museum in London.

“As I’ve seen first-hand with our initial Sandbox VR location, there is a huge demand from consumers for more immersive entertainment,” franchise owner Scott Boren said.
