Ann Adams, FAIA, is a healthcare architect whose career spans private practice, hospital operations, and owner representation. She was elevated to the 2026 College of Fellows of the AIA, a distinction held by only 3% of architects in the United States, and served as 2024 President of the American College of Healthcare Architects. She played a key role in the AIA’s adoption of the 2024 Resolution for Health and Wellbeing and led the design of Alternate Care Facilities during the COVID-19 crisis, including a 2,000-bed Colorado Convention Center project completed in 18 days. “I lead by creating connection — bringing diverse voices to the table, grounding decisions in evidence, and guiding teams toward solutions that truly support healing.”
