Brad Tomecek, FAIA, is the founder and principal of Tomecek Studio Architecture in Denver. A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design and Master of Architecture, he was named the 2022 AIA Colorado Architect of the Year and has been elevated to the AIA College of Fellows. A former president of AIA Denver, he also teaches design studios at the University of Colorado’s College of Architecture and Planning. His work has been recognized in Architectural Record, Architect, and Builder magazine, among other publications. “There’s certainly an artistry to building I think we bring to the projects,” he said, “and I think we think of building as an art form.”
