Carol-Lynn Grow is CEO of Colorado-based LawToolBox, where she has helped shape the legal technology industry through innovation, strategic leadership and a commitment to client success. With an international business background that includes leadership roles at IBM across Asia and being the first Western hire in a Japanese firm’s corporate planning department, Grow has built a career focused on solving complex business challenges.

As co-founder of LawToolBox in 2001, Grow helped pioneer one of the legal industry’s first online matter management platforms. Under her leadership, the company evolved into the leading legal application for Microsoft Teams, providing automated court deadline management that improves efficiency and reduces risk for law firms and corporate legal departments. She also guided the company’s early integration with Microsoft 365 and artificial intelligence, earning LawToolBox recognition as a top-tier Microsoft partner and a diversity-led business.

During the past year, Grow expanded the company’s global reach by leading Microsoft Innovation Hub workshops in Japan and across the United States. Presenting in Japanese, she introduced AI-powered legal solutions while helping attorneys and corporate counsel adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot technologies.

Beyond her business accomplishments, Grow is an advocate for technology education, innovation and mentorship. She serves on the Advisory Task Force for Voices for Innovation, mentors women and emerging technology professionals, launched an elementary school coding club in Denver and regularly leads educational workshops that promote responsible AI adoption. Through her leadership, LawToolBox has demonstrated how a Colorado technology company can influence the global legal industry while fostering innovation, collaboration and greater access to technology education.
