Chris Shears is a founding principal of Shears Adkins Rockmore, with a 50-year career in architecture that has encompassed projects representing more than $1.5 billion in combined construction value. He helped spark residential development in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood in 1997 by designing the Palace Lofts, the area’s first newly constructed residential loft project. Recognized as a weaver of urban fabric, Shears has been instrumental in shaping public policy and advancing urban density in Denver. His firm is currently involved in the redevelopment of parking lots around Ball Arena as part of the River Mile project, a master-planned, mixed-use community in Denver. Groundbreaking is set for 2027.
