J.C. “Curt” Marvel Jr. has served as President of Brannan Companies since 1994, guiding the Denver-based infrastructure firm through more than 1,500% growth over three decades. He began his career at Brannan Sand and Gravel in 1971 as a laborer and equipment operator, advancing through roles as estimator, project manager, and general manager before assuming the presidency. A University of Denver graduate with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology, Marvel has led the company’s evolution into a diversified leader in aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and underground utilities, with a strategic focus on vertical integration and supply chain control across the Front Range.
