David Pfeifer is the principal and president of Anderson Mason Dale Architects, a longstanding Denver firm where he has practiced for more than 25 years. He has led the design of numerous award-winning projects across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West, including the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, developed in partnership with New York’s Diller Scofidio + Renfro. A visiting teacher and critic at the University of Colorado Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning, Pfeifer is committed to supporting architectural education and the public realm. “We’re fortunate to work with public institutions which do have a really big impact on the public realm,” he said, “and we do that very consciously.”
