The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday the appointment of Kristen Blessman to the roles of executive vice president of the Chamber and president of the Chamber’s Leadership Foundation.

“I’m confident that with her contributions and leadership, the Chamber and our Foundation will achieve great things for our members and all of Colorado,” said J.J. Ament, president and CEO of the Chamber. “Kristen is a creative, bold and energetic leader that I’m honored to have joining our executive leadership team.”

Blessman brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. An accomplished entrepreneur and change-agent, she has previously served as president and general manager of PBS12 and CEO of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Chamber and the Chamber’s Leadership Foundation,” Blessman said. “I feel like my entire career journey has brought me here to this incredible organization. I can’t wait to join the team and be a part of molding and growing metro Denver and its leaders well into the future. I’m honored to be part of such a stellar mission and effort.”

Blessman is known for driving innovation and fostering growth through strategic planning and creative initiatives. As CEO of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, she introduced groundbreaking programs and redefined the organization’s value proposition, creating a unique space for the CWCC in the community, increasing revenue and growing membership to record-breaking levels.

“Having served on the nominating committee, I can confidently say that Kristen Blessman is the ideal candidate for this role,” said Lori Davis, market managing partner of Grant Thornton and 2023-2024 Chair of the Chamber Board of Directors. “Her vision and dedication align perfectly with our mission to energize the Chamber Foundation and create lasting civic impact. We are thrilled to welcome her aboard and look forward to the impact she will make.”
