DM Vans has sold out its entire 2026 model-year production three months ahead of schedule, as the broader RV market continues to decline.
The Rifle-based company said the sellout comes as RV wholesale shipments fell 14.4% year to date through May 2026, while retail registrations declined nearly 22% in March. The RV Industry Association also lowered its full-year forecast by 8.2%.
DM Vans builds its Lifestyle Vehicle camper vans by hand in Rifle and sells directly to consumers. The company said its 2026 production run was purchased by customers seeking higher-end vehicles with a focus on durability and manufacturer support.
“A tighter market makes people more careful with their money, and careful buyers are exactly who we build for,” said Matt Felser, co-founder and president of DM Vans. “The people who chose DM Vans this year did their homework. They know who built their van, and they trust us to stand behind it.”
The company is accepting deposits for its 2027 model year lineup.
