Federal Recycling expands Denver operations with new facility

DENVER — has moved its Denver recycling plant to a larger facility in Commerce City, doubling its processing capacity in the region and expanding the range of materials it accepts.

The new facility, located at 5699 Dexter St. near Interstate 270, allows the company to add services such as roll-off containers while improving access for drop-offs. Company officials said the site features more space, additional dock doors and one of the most advanced balers in the local market, designed to handle higher volume with greater speed and efficiency.

“Federal Recycling is excited to expand its Denver footprint and better serve businesses with a broader range of recycling solutions and increased capacity,” said Sam Still, president and CEO. “This expansion showcases our commitment to being the area’s premier recycling partner and positions us to capitalize on the tremendous business growth in Denver and the surrounding region.”

The new plant has hired additional staff to help expedite loading and unloading for customers.

Grayson Scott, general manager of the Denver operation, said the added space strengthens the company’s ability to support businesses and help them meet sustainability goals.

“Our team is thrilled for this next chapter of our Denver recycling operations and is poised to support businesses with their recycling needs,” Scott said. “The new space allows us to seamlessly service customers and attract new business with expanded capacity and capabilities.”

Federal Recycling & Waste Solutions, with more than 110 years of industry experience, accepts materials including paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, pallets, foam, glass and food waste. The company operates seven additional recycling plants nationwide, along with a National Accounts team and brokerage sales professionals.
