DENVER — Vinson & Elkins has added corporate attorney Will Myer as a partner in its Denver office as the firm continues to expand its transactional practice in Colorado.
Myer advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. His practice includes work for private equity funds, portfolio companies, family offices, boards of directors, founders and investors on corporate governance and fiduciary matters.
He also advises private equity sponsors throughout the investment lifecycle, from acquisitions and growth strategies to portfolio company exits.
“Will brings a strong track record advising clients across the energy, technology and industrial sectors,” said Sarah Morgan, managing partner of Vinson & Elkins’ Denver office. “His arrival, together with the partners we welcomed to Denver last week, validates the vision we had when we opened this office.”
Myer joins the firm from WilmerHale, where he worked with attorneys Keith Trammell, Chalyse Robinson, David Strong and Alex Bahn, who recently joined Vinson & Elkins.

Myer’s experience includes advising on domestic and cross-border transactions across a range of industries, including entertainment, financial services, energy and technology.
Vinson & Elkins opened its Denver office in 2024 as part of a broader expansion strategy. The firm recently relocated its Denver office to 200 Columbine in Cherry Creek.
