Nonna’s Italiano opens at Johnny Nolon’s Casino in Cripple Creek

CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. — Johnny Nolon’s Casino has opened Nonna’s Italiano, a new Italian restaurant at the casino in downtown Cripple Creek.

The restaurant features traditional Italian dishes, including customizable pasta options and classic entrées. Casino officials said the addition is part of ongoing efforts to expand food and entertainment offerings for guests.
“This opening is about more than just a new restaurant. It’s about listening to our guests and delivering on what they’ve told us matters most,” said Matt Andrighetti, general manager of Johnny Nolon’s Casino.
Andrighetti said customer surveys and focus groups indicated visitors were seeking affordable dining options and a stronger overall gaming experience. He added that Strictly Slots magazine certified the casino’s slot machines as 17% looser than the Cripple Creek market average.
“We are offering a pasta special for only $9.99,” Andrighetti said. “I’d say that’s a big step in the right direction.”
Johnny Nolon’s Casino, located in downtown Cripple Creek, features nearly 200 slot machines, Nonna’s Italiano and a renovated bar area. The property is owned and operated by Rocky Mountain Gaming CC LLC, which also operates the Colorado Grande Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek.
