DENVER — What started as a casual golf outing with colleagues has grown into a summer networking tradition for Colorado professionals. This year, , a serving the Front Range, is celebrating the 10th season of his golf series.

In Brief:
  • Rick Arthur marks 10th season of Wednesdays Fore Fun golf
  • Event fosters long-term in Colorado
  • Welcomes golfers of all skill levels with a relaxed format
  • Networking series has grown to 74 participants over the years

Arthur launched the event in 2015 to create an informal and inclusive environment for building business relationships. He said his goal has always been to focus on long-term connections rather than the quick exchanges common at traditional networking events.

“Relationships and golf are at the top of my priority list and were the catalysts for creating my Wednesdays Fore Fun summer golf events,” Arthur said. “The focus of these events has always been about cultivating long-term relationships, which is truly how business is done. WFF provides a place and opportunity to meet new people and build both business connections and friendships.”

The 2025 season began in June at The Golf Club at Bear Dance. Unlike traditional tournaments, Wednesdays Fore Fun has no winners or losers and is designed to be welcoming for golfers of all skill levels. Each outing hosts four foursomes, with participants paying their own green fees and cart rentals. Arthur treats the group afterward to drinks at the clubhouse.

Over the years, the community has grown to 74 golfers. Longtime participant J Dart said the series reflects Arthur’s personal approach.

“It is an extension of who Rick is,” Dart said. “He really cares about his clients, who they are and about their success and happiness both personally and in their business. Rick has put together an opportunity for us to nourish both.”

Arthur has more than 35 years in senior financial roles and previously built his own $20 million company. He works with business owners as a trusted advisor, focusing on vision, cash flow, profitability and strategic growth. He also conducts Financial Intelligence seminars for companies, teams and professional groups.
