DENVER — Confluent Development has promoted H McNeish to chief operating officer as the Denver-based commercial real estate firm restructures for its next phase of growth.
McNeish, who has worked with the company since its founding, will oversee operational infrastructure and shared services across the company’s development platform. He has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.
CEO Marshall Burton said the company is positioning itself for the next commercial real estate cycle after navigating pandemic disruptions, inflation and rising interest rates.
“Confluent today is positioned to be a market leader in the next cycle,” Burton said in a statement.
The company said its current pipeline includes nearly $1 billion in projected sales and development activity over the next 12 to 15 months. Over the past decade, the firm completed more than $2 billion in development projects and developed or acquired more than 70 projects across nearly two dozen states.
Confluent said about 50% of its portfolio is focused on senior living projects, with the remainder spanning industrial, retail, multifamily, mixed-use and office developments.
Recent projects include the full lease-up of Deer Creek Commerce Center and new industrial developments in Arvada and along the Interstate 25 corridor.
“Our goal is to increase predictability and performance in an increasingly complex development environment,” McNeish said.
The company said it plans to continue expanding its commercial development activity nationwide while maintaining a long-term growth strategy.
