G-Que BBQ to open restaurant at McGregor Square in Denver

DENVER — G-Que BBQ will open a new location March 4 at McGregor Square Food & Drink near Coors Field, marking the company’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Denver and its first marketplace (food hall) concept.

The restaurant will operate in the McGregor Square marketplace and will be the company’s fifth year-round location. G-Que also operates stands at Coors Field, Empower Field and Folsom Field.
The downtown location will serve items including smoked brisket, sandwiches, wings and sides.
“Opening at McGregor Square is a defining step in our growth,” said Nick Usher, president of G-Que BBQ. “This marketplace format allows us to introduce our slow-smoked BBQ to the heart of Denver.”
Founder Jason Ganahl said the company’s partnership with the Colorado Rockies helped demonstrate demand for barbecue in the area.
“Now we’re excited to serve fans, downtown residents and visitors every day, whether they’re heading to a game, grabbing lunch or looking for dinner,” Ganahl said.
The McGregor Square location will offer pickup, delivery, carryout and catering.
