GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — First Interstate Bank has hired Michael Sparks as director of enterprise credit risk.
Sparks will oversee enterprise credit risk strategy, portfolio quality and governance across the bank’s lending divisions.
He previously served as manager of business banking underwriting at UMB and senior credit manager at Bank of the West. Sparks has spent his career in the financial services industry.
“I am excited to join a dynamic team focused on growth and the client experience,” Sparks said.
Outside of the bank, Sparks previously served on the board of directors for the Salvation Army and volunteered with the Elizabeth Stampede.
