J. Keith Killian is the managing shareholder of Killian, Davis & Richter, PC, which he established in 1991 to serve personal injury clients on Colorado’s Western Slope. His practice focuses on motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, workers’ compensation, civil rights violations, and catastrophic industrial incidents including propane explosions, toxic exposure, and uranium mining-related radiation claims. Before founding the firm, he served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force, worked as a Colorado State Public Defender, and practiced at an insurance defense firm. A past president of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, he has been recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyer in the top five percent from 2006 through 2026 and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, multiple federal circuit and district courts, and the Navajo Nation Supreme Court. He earned both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Colorado.
