The socially savvy among us use different digital networks to promote our businesses, from Facebook to Twitter to LinkedIn.

Noting a hole in the market for IT professionals to convene virtually and connect with a like-minded group, the Konnexe app launched with its exclusive network for professional collaboration.

"Technology leaders need a private communication space for their fast-paced world, and Konnexe puts this at their fingertips," says Konnexe founder and CEO Jessica Stone. "After months of development, Konnexe is excited to launch a technology solution that cultivates and strengthens relationships … trust and value among IT leaders."The vetted membership-based network allows users to search for other members based on their company, skills or professional background. The social network also provides in-depth profiles, direct messaging and a forum for group discussions.

Tech executives can:

  • Skip the small talk and digitally convene in a peer-BAsED network

  • Communicate securely and efficiently

  • Access the best and brightest talent in their field

  • Share best practices

  • Seek advice and problem-solve

"The demands on technology leaders are greater than ever and Konnexe fills the gap in existing social platforms by providing direct contact with professionals to crowd source, troubleshoot and collaborate," says John Shepard, director of global technology for Starbucks Coffee Co., and a Konnexe advisory council member. "Unlike other online professional communities, Konnexe offers a vetted IT leadership group that's available to me at a moment's notice."

Stone, a Denver-based entrepreneur built relationships with a diverse group of technology leaders across the U.S. through her experience with C10. Listening to CIOs and CTOs struggle to find time and accessibility to cultivate connections with other IT leaders, Stone was inspired to construct the Konnexe network.

Stone "provides technology leaders a secure environment to connect while creating additional networking opportunities for women leaders who are underrepresented in this important sector," says Donna Lynne, lieutenant governor and chief operating office of the State of Colorado.

The Konnexe platform can also be licensed for any profession, group or community.
