Lisandra Matos is the founder and lead attorney of Matos Personal Injury Lawyers in Lakewood, Colorado. Immigrating to the United States from Cuba at 14, she graduated from Rice University before moving to Colorado to pursue a law career, ultimately launching her own firm after working at one of the state’s top personal injury practices. She has grown the firm into a multimillion-dollar practice with more than 12 team members that has recovered millions for injured clients. In the past year, she expanded into a new Belmar office and grew her team significantly. Matos also founded Arriba Las Mujeres, a grassroots movement empowering Latina women through networking events, a podcast, and social media channels. She describes her work as serving as “an equalizer between multi-billion-dollar insurance companies and individuals injured in car accidents,” driven by her belief that big corporations must be held accountable to the people who trust them.
