DENVER — Luxury travel adviser Ralph Iantosca has been named to Condé Nast Traveler’s Top Travel Specialists list for the sixth consecutive year, The Travel Society announced June 23.
The annual list recognizes travel advisers for destination expertise and client service. Iantosca specializes in African safaris and ecotourism experiences that connect travelers with wildlife conservation and local communities.
In addition to his travel advisory work, Iantosca founded The Conservation Corner, an initiative that supports education and workforce development in tourism and conservation. One of the program’s sponsored students, Daphne, is studying tourism at Rwanda Polytechnic while gaining experience at Volcanoes Safaris Virunga Lodge. During a client trip to Rwanda in early June, she worked with Iantosca’s travelers as part of her training.
“Conservation is not only about protecting wildlife and landscapes, it’s about investing in people and education,” Iantosca said.
Iantosca also recently launched “The Expeditionist” podcast, which focuses on conservation and travel to remote destinations. Recent episodes cover travel in Rwanda, Bhutan and Alaska, as well as conservation and local travel experiences.
“Ralph’s Condé Nast Traveler Top Specialist recognition reflects both deep expertise and meaningful purpose in global ecotourism and sustainability,” The Travel Society CEO Randy Yaroch said.
Iantosca has more than 30 years of experience designing luxury and adventure travel itineraries. He has traveled to more than 91 countries and is affiliated with The Travel Society and Virtuoso.
