Tim Jones is the founder of Longer Tables, a nonprofit dedicated to battling social isolation and cultivating cultures of connection by bringing strangers together for shared meals across America. For more than five years, he has been setting tables nationwide, culminating in the inaugural Mile Long Table at Auraria Campus, where more than 3,500 people gathered. A fifth-generation Colorado native, Jones also helps companies build cultures of connection and belonging. “The table is — in my experience — the most powerful, equalizing, humanizing place on this planet,” he says, “and represents what every human wants and needs — authentic connection and belonging.”
