GUNNISON, Colo. — Two veteran-owned businesses have partnered on the renovation of a new arcade set to open in Gunnison.
Octane Arcade, owned by veterans Colton Hansen and Joshua Hoppstadter, is preparing to open at 519 W. Tomichi Ave. As part of the project, Lone Tree-based S & S Concrete Restoration created a custom Pac-Man-themed floor for the facility.
S & S Concrete Restoration is owned by Army veteran Shawn Howell, who donated labor, materials and services to the project.
“At its core, this project is about veterans helping veterans,” Howell said. “We believe in supporting fellow veteran business owners, strengthening local communities and creating something people will remember.”
The custom floor was designed to reflect the arcade’s focus on classic gaming while creating a distinctive feature for visitors.
The partnership highlights collaboration between veteran-owned businesses and support for small business development in Gunnison County.
Octane Arcade is expected to offer a family-oriented entertainment venue centered on classic and modern arcade games.
