True Food Kitchen opens second Colorado restaurant in Boulder

BOULDER — True Food Kitchen opened Monday at the Twenty Ninth Street shopping center, marking the restaurant chain’s second Colorado location and 46th nationwide.
The restaurant, at 1755 29th St., Suite 1080, created more than 125 jobs. True Food Kitchen also operates a restaurant in Denver‘s Cherry Creek neighborhood.
The menu includes sourdough pizzas, grass-fed steak, seafood, salads, cocktails, nonalcoholic drinks and cold-pressed juices. The Boulder location serves lunch and dinner daily, weekend brunch and weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m.
“Boulder is exactly the kind of community True Food Kitchen was built for,” CEO Jeff Chandler said. “This is a city that genuinely cares about what goes into its food and how it makes you feel.”
As part of the opening, the company will donate $1 from each children’s meal sold to the Chef Ann Foundation, a Boulder-based nonprofit that helps schools replace ultraprocessed foods with meals cooked from scratch.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
