Elevations Credit Union has promoted Veronica Riojas to chief retail officer, overseeing its branches, contact center, digital banking and wealth management operations.
Riojas joined Elevations in 2022 and most recently served as senior vice president of retail network and member experience. She worked on the credit union’s service delivery model and used member feedback and data to guide changes to products and processes.
“Veronica is not only a champion of our members but an advocate for our employees and culture,” President and CEO Michael Calcote said.
Before joining Elevations, Riojas spent 15 years at USAA, where she served as bank omnichannel director and led teams responsible for integrated member services.
Riojas holds Certified Project Manager, Certified Credit Union Manager and Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor designations. She was named a CUES Emerging Leader in 2023.
