MONTROSE, Colo. — Clearnetworx, a fiber-to-the-home subsidiary of Vero Fiber, has acquired Ting‘s fiber infrastructure in parts of Montezuma and La Plata counties in Colorado and San Juan County in New Mexico. The acquisition strengthens the company’s network footprint across Western Colorado and the Four Corners region.
The deal gives Clearnetworx control of key strategic network assets, enabling the company to accelerate deployment, reduce construction redundancy and reach more rural and underserved customers.
“This acquisition significantly decreases our deployment timeline in the region,” said Doug Seacat, president of Clearnetworx. “It allows us to streamline construction, minimize disruption for the community and reach more customers faster. Our goal has always been to bring big-city fiber to small towns, with the resources of a well-funded company and the mindset of a local neighbor.”
Clearnetworx currently serves more than 12,000 fiber customers throughout Western Colorado and Northern New Mexico. Its growing footprint includes communities such as Durango, Bayfield and Cortez in Colorado, and Farmington in New Mexico. The acquisition complements ongoing state and federally funded expansion projects in Pagosa Lakes and along Highways 160 and 184.
“With this move, we are the leading fiber internet company making substantial infrastructure investments in this region,” said Casey Irving, vice president of business development. “We’re not just expanding. We’re investing long-term. This is a key market for us, and we’re here to build, grow, and serve our community.”
