DENVER — The Colorado Broadband Office has opened a public comment period on a proposed strategy for developing a statewide .

The Middle Mile Due Diligence and Strategic Roadmap Report proposes connecting and coordinating through shared governance, technical standards and investment priorities. The effort is intended to address and support the expansion of .

“We welcome insights, feedback and perspectives from community members, local leaders and industry partners across Colorado to help shape the final version of this roadmap,” said Brandy Reitter, executive director of the Colorado Broadband Office.

The office, part of the Governor’s Office of Information Technology, will accept comments through Aug. 7. Feedback may be emailed to [email protected], with “Middle Mile Strategic Roadmap” in the subject line.
