LOVELAND — Denmark-based Multicut plans to establish a manufacturing and production facility in Loveland to support the U.S. defense industry, state officials announced.
The company will locate at the Forge Campus and expects to create 82 jobs, including engineering and machining roles, with wages above the Larimer County average. The expansion was announced during the Space Symposium.
Multicut provides advanced manufacturing for the space, energy and defense sectors, with customers including Lockheed Martin, Planet Labs, Raytheon and Vestas. The new Colorado facility is intended to help meet growing U.S. demand and expand production capabilities.
“As a Danish company, we value long-term partnerships, innovation, talent and a collaborative business environment. Colorado delivers on all parameters,” said Frank Duhring.
To support the project, the Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $1,038,878 in performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits over eight years. The incentives require the company to meet job creation and wage targets.
Local officials said the project adds to northern Colorado’s manufacturing and aerospace sectors. “The arrival of this company represents exactly the kind of growth Loveland has been working toward,” said Patrick McFall.
Multicut considered expanding into California and Arizona. The company employs about 220 people, with most based in Denmark.
