Elizabeth “Liz” Hartsel is a partner at Senn Fortis and a leading employment and commercial litigator known for her courtroom success, mentorship and commitment to service. She handles complex disputes for businesses and individuals, securing significant results including a $713,454 jury award for a construction client following a five-day trial. Hartsel has also achieved favorable outcomes in employment disputes and discrimination matters while providing strategic guidance to employers on evolving workplace laws.

Hartsel’s legal excellence has earned recognition as a Colorado Super Lawyer, a Benchmark Litigation “Future Star” and a selection to The Best Lawyers in America for Labor and Employment Litigation for three consecutive years. She was also selected for the Colorado Bar Association’s COBALT leadership program.

At Senn Fortis, Hartsel has helped shape a culture focused on collaboration, mentorship and service.
