Kristi Kinnison is executive director of the Methodists Helping Methodists Foundation, a Greenwood Village–based nonprofit providing financial stewardship, loans and grants to United Methodist churches across Colorado and surrounding states. Since assuming leadership in 2010, she has expanded foundation assets sevenfold and grown annual missional distributions from $500,000 to more than $10 million. She previously closed nearly $1 billion in residential loans as a loan officer before entering the nonprofit sector. Under her leadership, the foundation merged the Rocky Mountain and Yellowstone United Methodist Foundations and created the nationally recognized All Saints Day Giving Guide. “The challenges I face today must not be the challenges my successor faces,” Kinnison said. She holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver.
