Sharon Knight is president and CEO of Hope Communities, where she has led the Denver nonprofit since 2017, growing its program budget by 1,600 percent and increasing the number of clients served annually by 900 percent. Under her leadership, a team of 37 serves thousands of residents in 21 languages, supporting nearly 4,600 clients with housing and vital services and providing food assistance for nearly 100,000 meals in the past year alone. She forged a partnership with Gorman and Company and the Colorado Health Foundation to create a campus offering affordable housing, childcare, healthcare and wraparound services. Knight was named a Denver Business Journal Most Admired CEO in 2023 and has championed equity by expanding opportunities for BIPOC staff across the organization.
