Tracy Brooks is chief program officer at Denver Rescue Mission, where she leads homelessness resolution programs that have helped nearly 1,500 households find stability through supportive services tailored to families, individuals in recovery, and those living with disabilities. She first joined the Mission in 2017 as director of emergency services, advancing through senior leadership roles before briefly serving as homelessness program manager for the City of Arvada in 2024 and returning to her current role. Colleague Deb Butte said Brooks “looked at the world with curiosity and hope,” citing her compassion as essential to the Mission’s work. A Colorado State University Global graduate in human services, Brooks serves with the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative and the City of Arvada Human Services Advisory Council.
