Andrew Akey is president of Loveland-based Vectis Automation LLC, a provider of robotic welding and cutting solutions. Since founding the company in 2019, he has guided its steady growth through a blend of technical expertise, strategic foresight and a leadership style that emphasizes empowerment and collaboration. Under his direction, Vectis has expanded to 35 employees and achieved a 12% revenue increase from 2023 to 2024, reflecting his commitment to innovation and sustainable business practices.

Before launching Vectis Automation, Akey owned Knacksmith LLC from 2017 to 2020, where he further developed his skills in engineering and business management.
