Ashley Comstock is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Vectra Bank Colorado, where she oversees finance, operations, marketing, community banking, facilities and treasury management across more than 30 locations in Colorado and New Mexico. With nearly two decades of experience in accounting and finance, Comstock is known for her strategic vision, empathetic leadership and ability to guide complex organizations through change.
Comstock joined Vectra Bank in 2012 as assistant controller after six years with Deloitte, where she served as a finance manager. She advanced through several leadership positions, becoming vice president and manager of finance in 2016, and in 2018 was appointed CFO, the youngest female to hold the role in the bank’s history.
President and CEO Bruce Alexander said Comstock “was undoubtedly one of the youngest female CFOs in the banking industry” and praised her as “a true asset to our organization,” noting her ability to “create efficiencies, mitigate risk and gain the respect of employees and shareholders.”
Comstock played a key role in the design and completion of Vectra’s $67 million corporate headquarters, consolidating multiple offices into one state-of-the-art facility that strengthened collaboration and saved the bank nearly $1 million in lease costs. She also supported strategic branch realignments and guided customer communications during the 2023 banking sector volatility, helping restore confidence and stability.
A graduate of Gonzaga University with a degree in business administration and accounting, Comstock serves on several boards, including Delta Dental of Colorado, the Colorado Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association Government Relations Council.
